Carolyn Ingledue, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Carolyn is a NY state licensed and insured massage therapist specializing in Prenatal and Deep Tissue Massage. She is a graduate of the Swedish Institute located in New York City and holds an AOS in Occupational Health along with a certification in prenatal care. Carolyn feels privileged to be able to use her skills to help people achieve a balanced life and reprieve from pain and discomfort brought on by everyday stress. A firm believer that the body, given the correct resources can protect and restore itself, she employs this intention in her work. As a former professionally trained dancer and performer she understands the body, its kinesiology and its need for painless efficient movement through space. As a mother of two, she knows firsthand the physiological and emotional changes pregnancy, and motherhood can present and has the tools to aid expecting and new mothers through their profound experience. Carolyn is also well versed in working with people of all ages dealing with chronic situations and finds a variety of massage methods beneficial to those struggling with long-term issues. She understands there is never a clear-cut single treatment universal for each person and strives to tailor sessions to the specifics of the individual.
